open-source ecosystem and commercial licenses
The open-source ecosystem is small and does not look healthy to me.
Over a year I observed trending GitHub repos for C#, it doesn't seem C# or .NET is used much outside of business hours. I am sad that there is no alternative web server, everything is "just follow the Microsoft way".
Commercial License
In the .NET ecosystem I see quite often a license switch to commercial,
- Automapper
- fluentassertions
- MediatR
- IdentityServer
- MassTransit
- ImageSharp
